Our Team

  • Meurig Cundy, Owner

    Meurig Cundy runs the Central Kansas chapter of TGA golf, the Happy Feet Franchise of Wichita, and the Legends Soccer League of Wichita; does volunteer coaching at the Boys and Girls Club; and is the proud owner of The Soccer Box and Golf-In. He grew up in Cardiff, Wales and Blantyre, Malawi and has used those life experiences to help fuel his passion for sports and entrepreneurship.

    Meurig graduated with a degree in Sports Psychology from the University of Glamorgan, in Wales, and began coaching soccer in the United States in 1997. He moved to the US full-time in 1999 when he accepted the position of Regional Director at Challenger Sports. In 2003, Meurig moved to Maize and married his wife of 20 years, Mandy (Goodnight) Cundy. Together they have one daughter, Olive, and one dog, Milo Meurig became an official US citizen in November of 2016.

  • Mandy Cundy, Owner

    Mandy Cundy is a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Kansas and is the Special Education Coordinator for the Ark Valley Special Education Cooperative.

    Mandy grew up in Dodge City, Kansas, where she was actively involved in the Jr. Golf program. She played golf in high school and lived in Dodge City until she moved to Lawrence to attend the University of Kansas. She graduated with Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Human Development and Family Life and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology. Mandy married Meurig in 2003 and they currently live in Maize, KS with their daughter, Olive, and dog, Milo.

    Mandy currently serves on the Kansas Golf Foundation Board and counts her most favorite golf memory as playing the Old Course at St. Andrews with her dad.

  • Jacob Headrick, Director of Golf

    Jacob was born and raised in Denton, Texas, and came to Wichita in the fall of 2019 where he started his undergrad. He graduated in the fall of 2023 with his Bachelors in Sport Management and is now pursuing his masters of Sport Management with hopes of graduating in 2025.

    After graduation Jacob hopes to be advancing in the PGA of America program to become a professional. He aims to be a Golf Club professional at a golf club, running golf operations, giving lessons and managing tournaments. Long term, Jacob would love to be part of designing a golf course.
